Description
Red Granites Battlecry is one of our favorite light-colored males from his cria class, and is an easy standout amongst other light-colored males here at Red Granite Ranch.
Battlecry has pedigree that is exceptional from top to bottom. His Sire, Estates Passionate Fever, is a 4-time Judges' Choice winner, and is also a direct son of the incredible Snowmass Matrix son: Snowmass Pure Passion. His Dam, Snowmass Matrix Breckenridge is also a Snowmass Matrix daughter, but has a maternal line containing Snowmass XXXtreme. She is one of our best foundation females who continually produces the most exceptional crias each and every year. Battlecry is line-bred off of Snowmass Matrix, making his COI 8.4%.
Battlecry has a beautifully, highly-aligned fleece. It is of very high-frequency and amplitude with a great buttery soft handle to it. He is exceptionally uniform in micron when you move across his body, and maintains his micron well into his extremities. These great fleece characteristics have brought him to the top of his class in walking fleece shows. Battlecry has a beautiful phenotype with a solid frame. He is fluid in his movements, has correct proportions, and perfect jaw alignment.
He has placed very well at shows across the country in rather large classes, garnering many first-place ribbons and 10 championship banners so far. We are excited to continue to watch him develop.
