Description
We've had our eye on this exceptional grey male for while; watching in admiration as his progeny win championship after championship in greys, browns & blacks. When the opportunity arose to purchase him in Spring 2024, we jumped at the chance! Co-owned with Holewood Alpacas, standing in East & West Sussex, Houghton Silver Dream, is available for hire for breeders in the South East for the first time.
He carries a very fine, dense uniformed fleece with one of his best traits being uniformity of colour. He has no spots at all on his blanket which is a very desirable trait. He has a very high frequency crimp style showing good brightness and amazing staple length. He stands on a very correct frame with a short muzzle and true to type head.

Son of the Legendary Houghton Noah II who has been a great influence for grey alpacas in the UK and these genetics aren’t found easily.
Multi-Grey- Championship winner, Houghton Silver Dream, showcased on the UK show circuit in 2019, sweeping the floor at each Show in the Grey intermediate class and Grey Championship.
Silver Dream has produced numerous champions & reserve champions in grey, modern grey, black & brown. This male is guaranteed to breed quality into any herd, no matter which colour you are breeding this boy can do it all!!
