Beck Brow Come As You are is an exceptional modern grey male. A stand out in conformation with a very well balanced frame, great strength of bone and a very appealing true to type head style. He presents himself very stylishly, moving with fluidity and standing proud.
His abundance of fleece (both length and coverage) adds to his visual appeal. However, closer inspection does not disappoint. He carries a very fine, dense, bright, soft handling fleece with good uniformity of micron and an even distribution of the different coloured fibres.
His dam, Beck Brow Kiss Me Quick, is a BAS National Colour Champion and brings Timbertop Goldmine of Beck Brow to his pedigree as well as a very high performing female line (via Beck Brow Snooty Boots). CAYA is sired by Gild Edge Samurai of Beck Brow, sire to so many successful progeny on the show circuit across the colours.
Come As You Are missed out on his early show career due to Covid but was the clear Modern Grey Champion at both of his 2021 autumn halter shows as an adult.
We are excited to have his progeny due this year (as do our clients). CAYA has mainly covered black females. Colour tested as Ee aa (genetic colour) he has a base coat of black with a roan pattern on top. It will be 50/50 with each pairing as to whether he passes on the roaning. This gives a high chance of either black or modern grey when paired with true black females. An exciting opportunity for dark coloured breeding programmes.
