Description
American Legend is a beautiful solid mid fawn huacaya with an impeccable pedigree on both sides of his parentage.
Legend’s sire is Snowmass Mystic Star who is both a UK and US Champion brown champion with Snowmass Matrix (sold at auction in the US for $675,000 – a record) in his near pedigree.
Legend’s pedigree on his dams side is no less impressive and all Snowmass. His dam, Snowmass Lacey Velvet, won the Kansas Futurity Champion Brown.
Legend's fleece remains fine for his age and he has a number of crias on the ground despite not all being BAS registered. These are striking alpacas with soft handling plus low SD's and long staple lengths; uniform in colour - one of which is black.
He is fully halter trained and very easy to handle. Videos can be provided.
We purchased him to add to our stud male availability in fawn but he isn't a core colour for our breeding programme.
He was purchased alongside Artwork Debonair. Debonair is also offered and we have reserved local breedings for both of these stud males in 2026.
