Description
Oriontree's Fable de la Fontaine is one of those special girls that comes around every now and again and just captures your heart. We had her dam and grand-dam here, so know exactly what has gone into the line. Every single alpaca from this line has been an absolute joy to work with from birth. They are calm, trusting and understanding. They halter train in minutes, not days, and they have never kicked. Big words for a whole line, but we know!
Fab is one who we are happy to keep, even if we don't breed from her. She has given us more than enough, so doesn't owe anything. However, should the right person come along, who would love her as much as we do, then who are we to deny anyone.
She is best bred every other year as she puts her all into the foetus and then milk. She is pregnant for 2026 after having 2025 off. We have used her mostly with external matings and she has taken first time each time.
She is halter-trained and easy to handle.
We are non profit cottage breeders, breeding with the aim of continuously improving fleeces. We have a number of really nice females we can offer as a package or individually. Not all are listed here or in our website, so please get in touch if you would like a price list. All of our alpacas are priced to be affordable whether to new entrants or to the existing breeder who wishes to bring in a bit of fresh blood.
All our adult alpacas are halter-trained for ease of handling.
All our sales come with:

- live cria guarantee (7 day)
- discounted stud services to returning females
