Phenotypically, Archer is beautifully balanced on a compact, conformationally correct, solid frame with great substance of bone.
He has a good width and depth of chest and is a powerful, well muscled male.
His fleece is fine, very dense and very uniform. He grows a good staple length and his fibre coverage is excellent.
His fleece is very stylish with a high amplitude, high frequency crimp style, even now at approaching four years of age.
Archer has a lovely temperament, he is very calm and laid back and an absolute joy to work with.
Archer's first three cria arrived here in the Summer of 2023 and we are very pleased with the outcomes.
He has produced black, brown and fawn so far.
Archer will be a really good purchase for someone looking to breed high quality brown alpacas.
Biosecurity is paramount here at Patou, and as well as other measures in place to maximise biosecurity, we have an electric badger-proof fence surrounding the entire farm. We are also part of the Sure Farm bTB Surveillance Scheme.
We have never had a positive test.
