Description
This boy will make someone a very nice herd sire or a spectacular pet and fleece producer! His fleece is great, genetics are impressive, he looks the part: compact and fleece everywhere, including his face! His fleece staple length was 115mm.
Luca's sire is Cambridge Navigator, undefeated Supreme Champion in 2009 and 2010. He reportedly exchanged hands for tens of thousands of pounds. His sire is the legendary EP Cambridge Peruvian Spartacus, say no more!
Luca's dam is Ingelfield Isadora, available for inspection here at Barnacre Alpacas. She had a beautiful soft and very dense fleece. No doubt she inherited this from her sire, Accoyo Remarque, an EP Cambridge super-sire who has awesome density, well defined crimp, breath taking brightness and a striking head. No breeding programme should lack these genetics!
Luca, born here at Barnacre, is very well mannered. He might be compact but he takes no messing at meal times when he always gets his share. He will also eat carrot from the hand.
Halter trained, Luca can be purchased on his own as a potential stud, although we would prefer him to go with his close friend Delgado, which will also give a big discount on his price because we would love them to stay together.
Luca's sale is conditional upon Barnacre Alpacas retaining 6 matings in the future inclusive of the price to be arrange with reasonable notice.
