Description
Snow Angel is an impressive female; a multiple ribbon winner and a true beauty! Great looks and a pedigree! Her fleece is amazingly bright, with tight crimp, pencil curls and density. She is a very solidly built young female with excellent conformation and a great top knot.
Snow Angel's dam, MMR Alani, a Jolimont Peruvian Alpamayo daughter, is one of our best foundation females, consistently producing amazing crias. Alani's fleece is very dense, and has maintained its character.
Snow Angel's sire is Agassiz's Prairie Thunder, a DLA Peruvian Thunderbolt son and P3 White Lightning grandson. Prairie Thunder sired some impressive offspring for us; check out some of Snow Angel's ribbon winning siblings on our AN farm site as well: Akiko, Mila and Princess Peach.
Snow Angel has been shown twice at the Keystone Alpaca Classic and was awarded a 4th place ribbon in her class each time. The competition level in white classes is high, with so many superb alpacas. At the 2007 show, the judge commented that "Snow Angel is a very pretty alpaca, well proportioned and well balanced with a great head. Her fleece is very bright with a soft handle". Great Job!
Snow Angel produced a handsome male cria this summer, sired by Desert Dwali, named Van Gogh. This young male carries the genetics of Jolimont Peruvian Sweet William/Jolimont Peruvian Sculptor and Jolimont Peruvian Alpamayo/DLA Peruvian Thunderbolt and holds great promise.
Snow Angel has been bred to Americano's HemiAccoyo Llywelyn for a 2012 cria. Check out Llewelyn's AN page; he is a stunning male with an amazing pedigree.
