Patou Snow Goose is superbly conformed with a strong well balanced and well muscled frame. He has great width and depth to his chest and great strength of bone.

Due to the fact that Goose's pedigree is almost completely black on one side he is throwing cria with a great depth of colour. He has produced black and dark brown cria from black dams, brown from brown dams and fawn cria from fawn dams. Goose has now produced 12 cria (as of July 2020) and all have been solid colours.

Not only that but he is producing cria with a big improvement in density and all have a truly wonderful head type.

I cannot tell you enough how amazed and pleased we are with the progeny he produced in 2019 and now in 2020. He has very quickly established himself as our leading herdsire going forward.

We visited his sire, Hanley Hall Rural Alianza Polaris, three years ago and seeing this majestic grandson of the legendary Rural Alianza Wiracocha of Wessex we knew we had to have these genetics in our herd.
We have not been disappointed.
Goose's dam is one of our best dark brown females Patou Amelie, herself from two black parents.

Whatever he produces it is sure to be quality. Goose excelled in the show ring winning three colour championship ribbons before he was 2.
His fibre stats are also impressive with his second fleece measuring at 18.6AFD.

He is the complete package in my opinion, fine, dense, uniform in micron and colour with a lovely advanced style to his fleece. Couple that with the true to type head and the great conformation and he is sure to produce quality progeny.
