Fleece (3rd): 21.20µ SD 3.00 CV 14.50% CF 99% SF 19.60µ (taken on 8th November 2011 at 1 Year and 10 Months of age) Fibre Testing Authority: Australian Alpaca Fibre Testing
This boy has Wow factor which all the judges have recognised - Ronroco, and his sire Charango, were part of the select group of Silcron animals to cross the ditch with us in 2010. He has matured into a well conformed 'look at me' macho and confirmed our faith in his potential with a consistent performance in the show ring. His fleece is dense, with well defined crimp that shows very good alignment, excellent brightness and a lovely handle.
Genetics behind Ronroco include Peruvian Sonoma, ILR Peruvian Drambuie, Purrumbete Inti, Jolimont Massimo and Adori Accoyo Altaz. His dam started at 18 micron and by her sixth fleece still had the enviable statistics of a fine fleece @ 22m 3.6sd 16.3cv 97.6%cf.
Ronroco started working at 24 months (as did his father) and has confirmed pregnancies underway.
Price includes vendor retaining some services for Silcron owned females
*GST is additional for NZ sales
Prizes Won: Ronroco has placed 1st at 9 of his 11 outings, including Champion Brown at Kumeu in both 2011 & 2012, Reserve Champion Brown at the recent Hamilton Colourbration and placed 1st at the 2011 National Expo where the judge, Lyn Dickson, described him as a clear winner.
