Angelina has been our quiet achiever in the nursery. Her offspring have been of excellent quality, and in turn their cria have been exceptional (see Icemaster in our 'males for sale') Last year on her eleventh fleece she measured at 23.8 micron! A fine result for a breeding female of her age. Her fleece is soft handling and a lovely shade of mid fawn. Her sire, a Peruvian imported by Somerset Alpaca, was only 21.8 micron on his eighth fleece with a 94.6% comfort factor - it's all in the genes!

Her sire, Marriglen Mars, was awarded Champion huacaya fleece at the Australian Alpaca National Show in 2005, 2006, 2007 AND 2008! Selene is a bit of a surprise package.I have to admit she is not the prettiest of the herd, but invariably the comment is 'wow' when you open her fleece, and 'mmmm' when you touch it! She is a fantastic mum who nursed 2 cria last year without a problem! She has a large frame and grows long staples with soft, bright and well nourished fleece with well aligned high frequency crimp. Selene is registered as light fawn, but is basically very white, apart from the faintest pink blush along the spine.

Geisha is large framed, halter trained female. She comes from a dam line that has consistently produced fine animals for us. Registered as light fawn, she has a soft handling fleece that is very close to white, just the faintest pink blush between the ears. To date she has produced some lovely offspring who have all been snowy white. Her daughter Atatori has placed well at both the Auckland Easter, and NZ National shows and is available on farm for inspection.
Geisha is a proven dam carrying good genetics at a very reasonable price point.
