We no longer agist as we are winding down our operations. However, we still apply the following husbandry techniques routinely for maximum animal health and welfare: - on-farm vaccinations every six months
- selenium drench given every six months
- worm testing
- vitamin A, D and E injections for cria during winter
- multi-B vitamin injections (as required)
- drenches (if required)
- teeth and toe-nail trimming
If you are a newcomer to the industry and/or are interested in further information, we have prepared a document (vet-approved) on our alpaca husbandry practices and general care routine as appropriate for the Goulburn NSW and Southern Tablelands regions.
