Magnate has excellent conformation with solid stance and frame. His fleece has deep bold crimp with a soft silky feel and exhibits high density and good fibre growth rates. Not one of his cria have disappointed us as yet.

Haydon really pumps out the fleece - extradordinary growth rate and enormous fleece. At the same time it is very fine and is still retaining its fineness on his 4th fleece. His firat cria arrived in 2011 and exhibit great fleece length and finesness. These cria are available for inspection at Currumbong.

Flash has a very fine soft bundling fleece with extreme density. He has maintained his fineness of fleece over a number of years now at around 21 microns. He was skin tested at the end of 2007 with a very high follicle density of 55.8/sq mm and a particularly good secondary/primary ratio of 12.3. Flash passes on his fleece quality to his progeny and we have superb progeny of his who are producing quality cria of their own.

Protege is co-owned with Clearview Alpacas. Protege was imported by Halcyon Alpacas in 2000, and is an extremely fertile quiet-natured son of the famour US sire Peruvian Hemingway. He has sired a number of well-known progeny including broad ribbon winners and certified males.
Protege's fleece is extraordinarily fine for his age, with his 2007 eleventh fleece micron test coming in at 22.6u. Protege is qualified as an SRS Wool Male, with a particularly high fibre follicle density of 68.2/sq mm and a secondary/primary follicle ratio of 10.6. Services are offered by drive-through at Currumbong and Clearview.
