Fleece (3rd): 17.20µ SD 3.90 CV 22.60% (taken on 31st July 2011 at 2 Years and 3 Months of age)
Patronus is a very rare and special suri male indeed. He combines the unique genetics of Surilana Quo Vadis ET (a son of the incomparable Surilana Macusani Ma Belle, and Surilana Il Papa - a Peruvian import who produced only one male progeny) with the classic genes of Senator and Summer Haze on his dam's side.
Patronus' sire and dam both have extraordinary fleece statistics - Quo Vadis retains a micron of 23.9 at 5 years of age and his dam was 21.7 micron at 8 years of age. Patronus has clearly inherited this trait with a first fleece of 15.8 micron; SD 3.5; CV 22.2; CF 100%. His second fleece was 17.0; 3.7; 22.1; 100% - Not only is his fleece fine, but Patronus also exhibits outstanding lustre, silky handle and excellent lock structure. Patronus' second fleece was placed third in the Adult Suri section of the 2012 International Fleece Challenge, held as part of the World Alpaca Conference in England.
Patronus is not available for outside stud duties at this time.

Thunderbolt is a young male with an outstanding fleece - from a young age it was obvious that he was going to be special, with an extraordinarily greasy, lustrous fleece which grows in fat, flat locks which open like the leaves of a book.
Thunderbolt performed well in the showring - being sashed the Supreme Champion Suri on his first outing as a junior. He was placed third in a very tough class as an Intermediate at the Sydney Royal in 2009 (see photographs from this show). His fleece has been shown twice - on both occasions taking out Supreme Fleece - at the Canberra Royal and Crookwell Fleece shows in 2010.
Thunderbolt's first cria were born in 2012 and we have been extremely impressed with the quality and consistency that he has produced. His cria are exhibiting beautiful lustre, silky handle and good density with well defined lock structure.
